Breaking Bias: Illustrating perspectives, Inspiring change.
A dynamic exploration that challenges preconceptions and reshapes perceptions.
01.
The Task
The assignment entailed crafting an illustration for the cover and defining a visual identity for a research report. Given the abundance of hard data, a vibrant and dynamic color palette was essential.
02.
The Challenge
Collaborating with various team members introduced diverse streams of information for the contents and perspectives on the artwork. As a designer, I needed to navigate these opinions to create a solution that satisfied everyone's input while fostering a positive team dynamic.
03.
The Outcome
As a result, I showcased varying iterations of the artwork, encompassing versions with and without facial features, as well as experimenting with both subtle and vibrant color palettes. Ultimately, the fellow collaborators expressed contentment with the results, allowing another designer (Ryan Collier) and me to proceed seamlessly with the booklet's design.
